Online Talk in USM on the FOSS Lifestyle

Turns out I am also being immunised from current economic hardships too

I gave a wide-ranging talk/workshop to USM language students on free culture, i.e. using and contributing to free and open source software and hardware projects on 20200822. Turns out good habits from my graduate student years of preparing and practicing are still as immensely important as ever, coupled with the new normal that has been imposed on most of us due to Covid-19. Thanks to the team at USM for making sure everything ran smoothly, including working around the inevitable bugs that crop up in such sessions.

The slides I used are available here. You are free to reuse them for your own purpose, which I hope will be something that also contributes to free culture. All figures and pictures except a few were Creative Commons licensed files downloaded from Pixabay.
